Traffic Engineer

Are you an experienced Traffic Engineer with a passion for optimizing traffic flow and safety? We are looking for a talented professional to join our team in Miami-Dade County.

Position: Traffic Engineer

Location: Miami-Dade County, FL

Qualifications:

• Experience: 4-6 years in traffic engineering, with a strong focus on traffic signal operations.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

• Certification: EIT (Engineer in Training) is required; Florida P.E. (Professional Engineer) is preferred.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MicroStation or AutoCAD is essential. Experience with Synchro software for signal modeling and simulation is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and optimize traffic signal systems.

• Conduct traffic studies and analyze data to improve traffic flow and safety.

• Collaborate with municipal and county agencies on traffic-related projects.
